The traditional classroom was designed for the industrial age—a world of fixed locations and rigid schedules. But if you are building a life of Freedom On Your Terms, your children’s education should reflect that same expansiveness.
We don’t just travel with our children; we Worldschool. We have transitioned from a static curriculum to a global one where the world’s museums, ruins, and ecosystems are the primary instructors.
What is Worldschooling?
Worldschooling is the intentional act of using your surroundings as the foundation for learning. It is the belief that a child will understand the Roman Empire better by standing in the Colosseum than by reading a textbook in a fluorescent-lit room.
Our Three-Pillar Curriculum
To ensure our children remain competitive while staying mobile, we follow a hybrid “Freedom Curriculum”:
1. The Digital Core
We utilize high-level online platforms for the “non-negotiables”: Mathematics, Literacy, and Coding. This ensures that their fundamental skills are measurable and consistent, regardless of our time zone.
2. The Contextual Immersion
This is where the magic happens.
- In Barcelona: Art class is a week-long study of Gaudí’s architecture.
- In Tokyo: History is a deep dive into the Samurai era at the Imperial Palace.
- In Bali: Science is an exploration of sustainable farming in the rice terraces.
3. The Social Intelligence Layer
Traveling exposes children to diverse social hierarchies, languages, and customs. They learn empathy, negotiation, and adaptability—the “Soft Skills” that are actually the “Hard Skills” of future leadership.
The Logistics of Learning on the Move
The biggest concern parents have is: “Will they fall behind?” The reality we’ve discovered is the opposite. Because their learning is tied to real-world experience, their retention is significantly higher.
We maintain a “Learning Portfolio”—a digital dossier of their projects, photos, and essays from each country. This serves as their academic record and a beautiful archive of their childhood expansion.
Education Should Be Lived
We are raising global citizens who don’t see borders as barriers, but as invitations. By removing the walls of the classroom, we’ve given them a playground that spans four continents.
The Worldschooling Checklist:
- The “Go-Bag” for Kids: Every child has a backpack with a tablet, a physical journal, and a Polaroid camera to document their “lessons.”
- Local Tutors: In every major city, we hire a local language or history student to spend 4 hours a week with them.
- Community: We seek out worldschooling hubs (like those in Bali or Lisbon) so they have peer-to-peer social time.
Your children are part of your legacy. Give them an education as big as the world you are building for them.
